Lowell Ryan Projects fosters a contemporary art program that highlights idea-driven, but also highly material art practices. The gallery is devoted to artists who are creating new narratives in their work with sincere investigations that often cross disciplinary boundaries. Lowell Ryan Projects is committed to debuting compelling work by artists at all levels in their careers and development. The gallery is located in a split-level, art deco building with a backyard garden in Mid City, Los Angeles.

Lowell Ryan Projects artists are represented in the collections of major institutions including LACMA, The Dallas Museum of Art, The Hammer Museum, The Whitney Museum of American Art, Centre Pompidou, and The Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY, to name a few. The gallery and its artists have been featured and reviewed in publications including The Los Angeles Times, Artforum, Flaunt, Hyperallergic, Angeleno, Autre, Artnet News, LA Weekly, Cultured, and Artillery.
